Cancel or pause your plan
What happens when you cancel, how to keep your plan, and how to pause for up to 3 months instead.
You can cancel or pause from Settings → Billing. Choose Cancel plan next to your renewal date.
What happens when you cancel
- Everything keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you aren’t charged again.
- After that, live listings stay up, but new vacancies can’t be published and new background checks can’t be ordered.
- Your homes, applications, notices and records are kept.
- Unused screening pack credits are frozen, and they come back if you choose a plan again.
The cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period. Until then, Billing shows “Your plan is set to end on …” with Keep my plan, so you can change your mind.
Telling us why (optional)
When you cancel, PropFit asks why. Answering is optional. Depending on your answer, you may be offered a pause or a smaller plan. Choose No thanks, cancel my plan to go ahead.
Pausing instead
If you have no vacancies right now, a pause may suit you better:
- Pause for 1 to 3 months and pay no plan fee while paused.
- Your listings are hidden from renters until the pause ends. Applications already in progress keep going.
- Your account resumes on its own at the end, or any time you choose Resume now in Billing.
Pausing is offered as part of the cancel steps: choose Cancel plan, pick “I have no vacancies right now” or “Not enough good renters”, then Pause my account.
