Find homes that fit you
Answer a few questions, with no account needed, and see which homes you meet the criteria for, and why.
PropFit shows you homes whose owners’ published requirements you meet, with the reasons, not a score.
Start without an account
- Go to Find homes (or scan a home’s QR code and choose Check if I qualify).
- Tell us where you’re looking, your monthly budget (rent plus required monthly fees), when you want to move in and how many bedrooms.
- Choose Find my matches.
- Answer a few short questions: income, a rough credit score range, who will live with you, pets, smoking, whether someone could guarantee your lease, your must-haves and what matters most. You can skip any question, or choose Show my matches now at any time.
We don’t check your credit here, and your answers never touch your credit score. Assistance animals aren’t pets, and you aren’t asked about them. This isn’t a rental application.
Your answers are kept on this device for 30 days without an account.
Save your matches
Choose Save your matches to create a free account with Google, Apple or email. We keep your answers and tell you when new homes fit. Signed in, your matches are under Matches.
Reading your matches
- Your matches: based on what you told us, you meet what these homes ask for.
- Need more info: nothing rules these out, but a few answers, from you or the owner, are missing.
- Not a match right now: shown so you can see what’s in the way.
Each home shows a label:
- Verified match: you meet the criteria, and your details are verified.
- Potential match: verify to confirm: you meet the criteria based on what you told us. Verify your details in your Passport to confirm.
Open Why I match on a home to see each requirement, your answer and the result, and the next steps that would help, like verifying your income or adding a guarantor.
Changing your answers or pausing
Use Update my answers to change what you told us. On Matches, Pause my search stops new match alerts until you resume.
A home from a link or QR code
An owner’s link shows the home, what it costs (including the estimated move-in cost and the fees you’ll pay) and what you need to qualify. Choose Check if I qualify to see your result for that home first.
